Parish Mission 2017

St. Jane de Chantal Parish Mission 2017

“The Treasures of Our Catholic Faith”

St. Jane de Chantal Church

March 18-22, 2017

Presented by Fr. Bob Lombardo, CFR,

Director of the Mission of Our Lady of the Angels, Chicago

Father Bob is a highly sought after speaker and retreat leader! He is especially well known for his Lenten missions. So much so, that Father Cronin had to book him three years ago, for this our 2017 St. Jane de Chantal Parish Mission!

Fr. Bob graduated from Notre Dame in 1979 with an accounting degree and worked for Price Waterhouse. Soon, however, the call to become a Franciscan and a priest could not be denied. As a young religious, he did missionary work in Bolivia and Honduras with orphaned street kids, organized youth programs on Manhattan’s lower east side, and directed the Padre Pio Shelter for the Homeless in the Bronx. He has given various retreats to Parishes and Youth groups for over 20 years. For the past seven years he has been assigned to the Mission of Our Lady of the Angels on Chicago’s West Side. The work of the Mission is outreach to the poor and evangelization. To visit or assist at the Mission, you can learn more by visiting their website at

You don’t want to miss out on this wonderful opportunity to hear Father Lombardo!

March 18 & 19th Father Bob Lombardo will be speaking at all masses.

March 20-22 Mission talk from 7:00-8:15 p.m. will be on the following topics:

March 20th, Evening One: “The Eucharist and Priesthood” – At the Last Supper Jesus gave us a special gift: Himself. The night will concentrate on the Real Presence of Jesus.

March 21st, Evening Two: “Healing and Reconciliation” – How do we find the inner peace and joy Jesus promised us?

Confession will be available on this day.

March 22, Evening Three/Closing Mass: “Go Out and Make Disciples” – How can we go forth and speak positively about the treasures of our Faith to all we meet?

Please invite everyone you know!  We look forward to seeing you!
